Katy Perry is teaming up with nail care company OPI for her own nail polish line. The announcement came just after Justin Bieber announced a polish line of his own with the same company.

The Katy Perry collection will be available in January and will feature four different shades: “Teenage Dream” (pink glitter ), “Not Like The Movies” (silver), “Last Friday Night” (shimmering bright blue), and “The One That Got Away” (dark purple).

 The set will also feature a top coat called “Black Shatter,” which will create the illusion of a cracked/leopard print canvas whenever it’s painted on top of an already dried undercoat.

SIMON SAYS ANOTHER $150 MIL, WILL DO

Simon Cowell has signed a $150 MILLION deal with ITV to keep “The X Factor” and “Britain’s Got Talent” on the telly until 2013.

Simon will return as a judge on both shows, ending speculation that he might give up one or both to concentrate on the U.S. version of “The  X Factor”.

Under the deal, signed with ITV yesterday by Syco and its production partner Talkback Thames, ITV2 will also show US X Factor and America’s Got Talent.

And under the new deal, Simon will get paid extra for appearancess.

He will also earn some more through spin-offs and iTunes downloads.

NICKI MINAJ DUMPS DIDDY AS HER MANAGER

Nicki Minaj has parted ways with her manager Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, for Jennifer Lopez’s manager, Benny Medina.

Nicki joined Rick Ross on Diddy’s management roster in May after three years under the guidance of Debbie Antney, mother of rising rapper Wacka Flocka Flame.

She’s cut ties with Diddy ahead of the November release of her debut album Pink Friday, admitting she didn’t feel enough “progress” had been made in the five months she’s spent under his wing.

In a statement, she says, “By now, everyone should know that I am really strict when it comes to my representation. I had sympathy for (Combs), however I feel as if I haven’t gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client. Personally, I feel like I’m being managed by mother. Even if you play the smallest role on my team, I wish to see progress.”

So i went to Final Fear over the weekend.
First off i will say that Final Fear IS the scariest of all the ‘haunted houses’ in Western New York but…its not scary enough for me to NOT go in them.
So i ran into alot of great people there, some groups who asked me to tag along with them as they ventured into 1 of the 4 haunted houses they had available.
There were some funny moments & scary moments but overall we all had fun. It was a great success.
Then the next day i sign on to facebook only to see a slew of comments from the people over at Final Fear claiming i was ‘too scared to go through the haunted houses while i was there’.
Hello guys??? Um i went thru ALL FOUR OF THEM!!!
Then in response the Final Fear guys pointed out that since i apparantly went ‘last’ when i went in with different groups that makes me some sort of a coward.
Well folks…just to prove that i aint scurred…i will return to Final Fear before Halloween and go through all four haunted houses BY MYSELF!
That way im first, middle, last, etc.
And ill be sure to document it for you while i do it too!

Word has it the song continues with the theme of abuse, but it’s told from a woman’s perspective. Lyrics include: “Even angels have their wing cut schemes, and you take that to new extremes, but you will always be my hero, even though you lost your mind.”

The track was produced by the UK’s Alex da Kid, who was behind the original “Love The Way You Lie” on Eminem’s “Recovery” set.

“Loud” drops November 16th.

Touch-screen gadgets like iPhones and BlackBerrys are the latest safe-haven for germs and viruses.

A Stanford University study shows that touch-screens are just another thing for a germaphobe to worry about.

Mobile phones harbor 18 times more bacteria than a flush handle in a typical men’s restroom.

Researchers said, “If you put virus on a surface, like an iPhone, about 30 percent of it will get on your fingertips. After that, a fair amount of it may go from your fingers to your eyes, mouth or nose.”

A company that sells a special germ-fighting case says the filthiest things we encounter on a regular basis are computer keyboards and our mobile phones.

They say the average mobile phone has 25,127 germs per square inch.

“VH1 DIVAS” LINEUP ANNOUNCED…DIVAS?

Apparently, being a diva is different than it used to be.  

Katy Perry, Sugarland, Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj and Paramore are this year’s “VH1 Divas,” but the focus won’t be on them. They’ll be singing for the military through a partnership with the USO.

Katy, Sugarland, Keri and Nicki will perform for thousands of men and women in uniform at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California. Paramore will visit Marines, soldiers, airmen, sailors, coastguardsmen and reservists at a military base in the Middle East.

Keri Hilson said: “I get to be among so many other influential women, groundbreaking women, strong, powerful, confident women, not only on that day, but just to be a part of the legacy of ‘VH1 Divas.’ Strong woman, yes I am. Leader, yes I am. Innovative, creative, all those things, yes, I am that.”

Despite the rumors, Mark Salling has NOT been axed from ‘Glee’.

Gossip blogs reported that Sailing may have breached his contract with Fox by making his own album.

But souces say, “Mark would never prioritize anything over the show, he respects the executives and his cast too much to do that.

“People forget that he’s been doing music for almost a decade before ‘Glee’. He just has a target on his back because he’s the first of the cast to do a solo album.”

CHRISTINA AGUILERA SPLITS FROM HER HUSBAND!

Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman have separated.

A source close to Christina told Us Magazine that the couple “have been separated for a few months.”

Christina and Jordan met in 2002 and got married in 2005. They haven’t decided whether to divorce, but they are now living apart.”

As for what went wrong, the source said: “They were very much in love. But over the last six months, it became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife. Christina even proposed their August trip to Italy to rekindle their relationship, but it didn’t help.”

The couple will stay committed to their 2 year old son, Max. Christina has even been taking Max to the studio while she wraps up the soundtrack for “Burlesque”.

2010 AMAs NOMINATIONS

EMINEM and LADY ANTEBELLUM lead the nominations for the 2010 American Music Awards with five nods each.  JUSTIN BIEBER is the next most nominated act, with four nods.  This year’s AMAs will be handed out on November 21st during a ceremony airing live on ABC-TV November 21st.  So far, acts who’ll be performing on the show include USHER, PINK and BON JOVI.  More performers and presenters will be announced later.

Ok, for those who dont have any tattoos listen up…they HURT!
I have four of them and they all hurt like a mother. Some areas hurt more than others but thats the whole idea behind it. Not that we as people enjoy inflicting pain on ourselves but i think that if tattoos didnt ‘hurt’ or if it wasnt such a process you need to go thru in order to get one…then it wouldnt be as much of a big deal to get one.
People who are inked know what im saying, for those who dont have a tattoo and is thinking about getting one someday but may be too afraid that it will ‘hurt’. well…then idk dont get one i guess? cause its gonna.
Well apparantly in this next video nobody told the woman getting tattooed that these things hurt! I mean its a NEEDLE DIGGING & TEARING INTO YOUR SKIN! Of course youre gonna feel discomfort! Its not the kind of temporary tattoo she was used to getting before at her state fair where they just airbrush it on. This is the real deal!
Ive seen people have a hard time with getting their as far as dealing with the pain. Some of the ones ive had done were even tough for me to bear. But nothing like this…
This lady takes the uncomfortableness to a whole new level…to the point the tattoo artist, her friends and i think everyone watching the video wants to just tell her to ‘SHUT UP ALREADY’.

WOMAN SCREAMS WHILE GETTING A TATTOO

I mean shut the hell up already!!
Going to get a tattoo and not expecting it to hurt is like rubbing soap in your eyes and not expecting it to sting.
Not that i know what it feels like for a woman to be in labor (obv more painful than a tattoo on your back im sure)…but if this lady has any kids, i dont even wanna know how it went down in the delivery room. The doctors probably LOVED her!!
Not much else is known about this mystery screaming woman or whether she ended up getting that tattoo finished or not. Or even what the tattoo was. Judging by her age and look im guessing a Bon Jovi logo or something along the lines of ‘Git-R-Done’.
What baffles me is how she was already assuming the pain before there was even contact. The moments he would turn the gun on she would start screaming before any contact is felt.
If you ask me part of this is a mix between someone with a very low threshold for pain who is also very overdramatic/cries for attention.
I hope the tattoo artist got a good tip at least.

JUSTIN BIEBER CRAVES A NORMAL LIFE

An excerpt from Justin Bieber’s so-called autobiography was published in the UK’s News of the World.

Here is what he shared: “If I was at home and I wasn’t doing this, I’d wish that I was in this position. Now that I’m here, I sometimes wish I could just go back home and just chill.  

“When I was little, I longed for a ‘normal’ life with a ‘normal’ family. Mom worked her butt off at whatever job she could get to keep a roof over our heads. There were no luxuries but it never occurred to me that we were poor. We had each other, which was everything.”

FACEBOOK ‘CHANGES’ HIGH SCHOOL TRADITIONS… FOR BETTER, OR WORSE?

Facebook is changing traditions for high schoolers– including homecoming

According to a student (in Wisconsin), the whole night was planned as an event on Facebook.  Attendees were told where they were going to eat and meet before the dance.

Because Facebook is now available on phones it’s the new way to communicate; no need for calling anymore!

Even romance is blossoming over Facebook; kids are asking each other to dances through Facebook and not face to face anymore.

Teachers from surrounding schools say they did it right. If you wanted to go out with someone, you had to work up the courage to do it face to face.

A positive aspect of Facebook: when it comes to events, you don’t have to wait long to remember the good time you had. Pictures are on Facebook within 5 minutes of being taken!

NOTE:  Teachers are worried about students developing the right verbal skills.

As for planning events like homecoming, teachers give Facebook two thumbs up!
