STARS CAME TOGETHER TO COVER “WE ARE THE WORLD” LAST NIGHT
Celebrities came together last night to re-record “We Are the World” to help raise money for Haiti. This year is the 25th anniversary of the original song,
Among those that showed up to perform were Akon, Jason Mraz, Bono, Wyclef Jean, Carlos Santana, Enrique Iglesias, Usher, Toni Braxton and Lady Gaga.
Also spotted at the recording session were Kanye West, Tony Bennett, Beach Boy Brian Wilson, Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx, Jeff Bridges, LL Cool J, Justin Bieber, producer Sean Garrett, Vince Vaughn, Will.i.am, Reba McEntire, Brandy, Josh Groban, Rob Thomas, T-Pain, the Zac Brown Band and none other than Barbra Streisand.
The session was held at the A&M complex in Hollywood, which is the same studio where the original was recorded.
He said: “Having Quincy Jones, our father of music, and Lionel Richie asking me to contribute and help, I said of course, because this is not about me. It’s about Haiti.”

RUSSELL BRAND AND KATY PERRY’S WEDDING WILL BE “CLOTHING OPTIONAL”… COULD ELOPE
Russell Brand said that his upcoming wedding to Katy Perry will be “clothing optional.”
He said: “We are going to do the wedding naked! All the families will be naked! Kidding! We’re still deciding what to do. There’s no juicy details yet.”
“All my dream weddings don’t make sense. The people in the front row will turn into people from my school. And then everyone will only say the word ‘potato.’ “
Katy Perry says her and Russell Brand haven’t ruled out eloping.
The singer said that her engagement to the actor is going “Fabulous! Better than I would imagine engagements typically do!”
And about the possible wedding date she says “I think when the time is right and we can both schedule it. And when the press doesn’t know about it!”
(ANOTHER WAY TO DUMP YOUR EX)…GOODWILL LETTING PEOPLE DROP OFF MEMORIES FROM BAD RELATIONSHIPS

Folks who have leftover items from a bad breakup have been taking the stuff to a Goodwill store in Colonial Park, Pennsylvania.
The store is taking engagement rings, wedding dresses, monogrammed towels, you name it….for its anti-Valentine’s Day donation drive, which they are calling “Dump your X’s stuff.”
The owners of the Goodwill store think having the drive will give people an empowering motivation to dump their junk.
And there have been some strange items dropped off in the past. A woman also dumped a bag of men’s clothing and watches with a note saying: “I hope you’ll take better care of this than my husband did.”
Just last spring, a man showed up with two truckloads of his ex’s items, including photos and a shopping bag full of love letters.
People who donate get stickers saying, “I dumped my X’s stuff.”
